Roy Hurd has released his new CD. “Journey On” is Roy’s 18th album to date.
The Addition Studio is proud to have recorded and supplied Roy’s project with mandolin tracks for the new release.
The Adirondack native son penned 10 original tunes for the project and enlisted veteran musicians Tim Hartnett (bass), Skip Smithson (mandolin), Jim Schacher (lead guitar/vocal), Mark Elliot (vocal harmonies), and Jeff Rendinaro (harmonica). The handsome graphics and artwork were supplied by Amanda Palmer and Shaun Heffeman of Oasis Designs.
Roy’s music accomplishments are many and have been described on an earlier post on this site. I recommend viewing the post and checking out the truly inspiring career this Redford NY native continues to have. Roy Hurd Adirondack folk singer
I have enjoyed playing with Roy this summer to support the new CD, and one of the highlights was performing with Roy and Tim Hartnett at Caffe Lena in Saratoga NY.
This trio will be performing at the Palmer Street Coffee House on Friday, November 3rd at 7:30. This is a wonderful venue to get to see Roy and check out his new recording!
