Yanuziello electric mandolin

I was fortunate to purchase one of these beautiful, handmade, electric mandolins from the maker, fairly early on in his career. The great thing about the purchase was that there was a personal collaboration between myself and Joe Yanuziello which made the experience something more memorable than just buying off the rack. In this age of corporate everything, its nice to come across this alternative that hasn’t been swallowed up by the Clear Channel Radio monopoly.  Enter Acoustic Café. A great source of New Acoustic Music.  Having grown up with FM radio, I miss the fidelity that a good receiver/tuner brings to the discerning ear.  Streaming from computer is finally catching up to the old analog alternative with flac and other higher resolution MP3 files but the majority of compressed music streaming still leaves a lot to be desired in the audio quality department. Will-The-Circle-Be-UnbrokenHow and when did this American rural music get high jacked and turned into the pop drivel it is today?   What happened to the likes of Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams, George Strait , Dolly Parton, Kris Kristofferson, Lee Ann Womack,  Marty Stuart, Randy Travis…..what the heck happened people?
