I have had the opportunity to use this Golden Age ribbon microphone on several occasions in the studio.  I feel it does a remarkable job in many situations. I cannot vouch for its longevity, as ribbon microphones are more fragile by design and construction, but for the price this microphone is a gem.  Using this mic with a preamp that has a bit of extra gain will yield some great results. It came packaged with the largest shock mount stand holder I have ever seen!

It’s a bird, it’s a plane…..it’s a harp mic?   Wild looking , art deco RCA public address mic (clean up in aisle three please).  Our resident harp wizard JR owns this beauty and we are trying to see if, when and how it may channel “Little Walter” on his next recording!  Hey man, it could happen.
